September 11 Commemorative Events

September 11 Commemoration Service
Islamic Cultural Center – September 10, 2011    6:00 pm
ICCF and IACC are marking the 10th anniversary of the attacks with a call for peace and justice and a solemn commemoration of the lives lost on that day and later as a result of the attacks.  Officials from local government and religious entities will be invited to attend and a local family who lost a loved one in one of the planes that hit the towers will give testimony.  Reading from the Qur’an will be offered and the event will conclude with children freeing white doves as a symbol of our future in a world of peace.
